The Ridgefield Art Association is taking over the historic Greely Building in downtown Ridgefield, built in 1920 and normally 10,000 square feet of empty rustic space, and transforming it into 21 individual galleries, each built out by a different local artist. If you're around Sunday afternoon, the Ridgefield Art Gallery is also hosting a poetry reading from 2 to 4 p.m.

Tens of millions of birds migrate through Southwest Washington every year, and Vancouver Audubon's 3rd annual Migratory Bird Celebration is a genuinely fun, free way to learn about it as a family. In partnership with the City of Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center, there's a Migration Game where you play as a bird facing obstacles on the journey, a Nature Bingo card with 23 things to find, guided bird outings through Marine Park's habitats, beginner binocular workshops, and a chance to help build nest boxes. No registration necessary, just show up.

A Travel Portland Editor's Pick, the Belmont Street Fair is one of the largest-attended street fairs in the city, closing down SE Belmont Street between 33rd and 39th for a full day of food and retail vendors, live music on three different stages, and a dedicated Kids' Zone.
