Corn Mazes & Pumpkin Patches Near Vancouver, WA: Clark County Fall Guide (2026)

Hours, admission, and what's included at every pumpkin patch and corn maze in Clark County and Southwest Washington this fall.

Bi-Zi Farms in Vancouver is the biggest full-day option, Velvet Acres Gardens is a smaller mid-size pick, and Walton's Farms in Camas and Dawning Day Farm in Battle Ground are good low-key, budget-friendly choices. Most farms open in late September and run through October, with dates, hours, and admission for all seven farms below.

It's already August 18th, and the summer went by fast. Mornings are starting to bring fog and that first crisp edge in the air - the kind that means fall is on its way here in the Pacific Northwest, calendar or not. That means cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice everything, and my favorite part of the season: corn mazes and u-pick farms.

Below is a full guide to the pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and u-pick farms opening around Clark County and Southwest Washington this year - hours, admission, what's included, and a few tips from experience. If you're new to the area, this is also just a fun way to get to know your neighborhood; if you're still house-hunting, my guide to moving to Vancouver, WA is a good place to start.

Walton's Farms - Camas, WA

A local, family-run pumpkin patch and corn maze right in Camas - simple, affordable, and dog-friendly (on leash). If you're weighing Camas against Vancouver for your next move, it's also worth a look at my pros and cons of living in Vancouver, WA.

Pomeroy Living History Farm - Yacolt, WA

Less about mazes, more about atmosphere

Pomeroy Living History Farm - Yacolt, WA

A little different from the rest - Pomeroy is a nonprofit historic farm museum, on the National Register of Historic Places, that hosts "Pumpkin Lane" each October: a mile-long hayride past dozens of costumed "pumpkin people," ending at the patch.

Address: 20902 NE Lucia Falls Rd, Yacolt, WA 98675
Dates: Weekends in October (2026 dates not yet announced)
Includes: Hayride down Pumpkin Lane, hay bale maze, pumpkin flume, yard games, and access to the historic log home and farm animals

This one's less about mazes and more about atmosphere - a beautiful, historic setting and a nice change of pace once you've hit the bigger farms.

📌
A note on Joe's Place Farms: if you grew up here, you probably remember Joe's Place Farms in east Vancouver as a fall tradition. Unfortunately, after 31 years, Joe's Place closed for good after the 2020 season when the owner retired. It's still listed on a few outdated sites, so just know it's no longer open if you go looking for it.

Special Mention: Sunflower Maze at Topaz Farm - Portland, OR

Worth the drive before the corn mazes take over for the season

https://www.instagram.com/reels/DcJ33uwSog4/

Scrolling Instagram this morning, coffee in hand, and this stopped me mid-scroll. Most corn mazes around here don't open until September, but if you're looking for something to do right now, Topaz Farm on Sauvie Island has a sunflower maze that's absolutely worth the drive.

Address: 17100 NW Sauvie Island Rd, Portland, OR 97231
Includes: Acres of blooming sunflowers with a maze woven through, plus u-pick and u-cut bouquet options, farm animals, and a farm-to-plate market and grill
Admission: Typically $5–7/person for day admission, with add-on pricing if you want to cut your own bouquet ($1/stem or a discounted bundle)

It's technically in Portland, not Vancouver or Camas, but it's a short drive and one of those "worth it" experiences before the sunflowers fade and the corn mazes take over for the season. Topaz also runs a corn maze of its own later in the fall, so it's worth a second visit in October too.

Tips Before You Go

A few things I've learned after years of fall farm visits around here

Go early or go on a weekday if you can - mornings and weekdays are far less crowded than weekend afternoons, especially at the bigger farms like Bi-Zi.
Wear closed-toe shoes and bring boots if it's rained recently - corn mazes and pumpkin fields get muddy fast in the PNW.
Bring cash - smaller farms like Walton's and The Patch aren't always set up for cards at every stand.
Check ticket policies before you drive out - several farms, Bi-Zi especially, sell tickets online only, in timed entry slots, so don't assume you can just show up.
Call ahead for dog policies - some farms welcome leashed dogs, others don't allow pets at all. When in doubt, leave them home.
Layer up - mornings can be foggy and cool, but it warms up fast once the sun's out.
Bottom Line
Go Early, Check Dates, and Don't Sleep on the Smaller Farms
Bi-Zi Farms is the go-to for a full day out, but Velvet Acres, Dawning Day, and Walton's are all excellent, less crowded alternatives close by. This guide will stay updated as more farms confirm their 2026 dates and hours - check back before you head out.
