June is Pride Month — and here in Vancouver, WA, that means vibrant celebrations, heartfelt community, and space for everyone to show up exactly as they are. As an ally and advocate, Pride is incredibly meaningful to me, my family, and my friends. So I’m thrilled to highlight this year’s Vancouver Pride events first and foremost, including the beloved Saturday in the Park Pride and the Pride Block Party downtown.
But that’s not all happening this weekend. From Father’s Day car shows and BBQ fests to the Juneteenth Freedom Celebration and Portland Beer Week, there’s a whole lineup of events to explore from June 13–15, 2025. Whether you’re planning something fun with Dad, honoring resilience, or just enjoying the early summer vibes, here’s your weekend guide to everything happening around Vancouver and Portland.
LGBTQ+ Pride in Vancouver

About the Event
Since 1993, Vancouver USA Pride has brought the community together for Saturday in the Park Pride, one of the region’s longest-running LGBTQ+ celebrations. Today, events like the Pride Block Party—launched by the community-minded duo behind Dandelion Teahouse & Apothecary—have helped Pride in Vancouver grow into a full-day celebration of love, identity, and inclusion.
This year, the celebration continues across multiple downtown locations, featuring entertainment, local LGBTQIA+ vendors, and safe spaces for everyone to gather in joy and solidarity.

The Juneteenth Freedom Celebration commemorates the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in 1865 — two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Officially recognized as a federal holiday in 2021, Juneteenth has long been honored by Black communities across the country as a day of reflection, resilience, and joy.
This family-friendly event honors that legacy with a full day of celebration in Vancouver’s beautiful Esther Short Park.
